Yolanda McCullough

Founder & Executive Director

I am the founder & executive director of The Empowered Family Project, a nonprofit created through both professional experience and divine assignment. With over a decade of experience in financial management, budgeting, and organizational oversight, I have worked with federal, state, local, and grant-funded programs—helping organizations operate with financial clarity, accountability, and long-term sustainability.

My commitment to financial literacy is deeply rooted in faith. I believe God calls us to be good stewards, and I have seen how a lack of financial knowledge can place unnecessary strain on families who are already doing their best. This work was placed on my heart after witnessing hardworking individuals struggle—not from poor character, but from limited access to practical financial education and supportive resources.

The Empowered Family Project was established in obedience to that calling. Our mission is to equip individuals and families with financial education, community resources, and encouragement that leads to stability and hope. We meet people where they are, offering tools that empower them to make informed decisions while restoring confidence and dignity.

This nonprofit is more than an organization—it is an assignment from God. I am committed to stewarding this work with integrity, transparency, and compassion, trusting Him to guide each step as we serve families and work to break cycles of financial hardship for future generations.
